City Butcher and Barbecue

City Butcher and Barbecue was founded in 2014 with the mission of bringing authentic Central Texas barbecue to the Ozarks. Upon returning from culinary school in Austin, TX our founder, Cody Smith, started City Butcher as a wildly popular farmer’s market stand selling sausages and charcuterie. From our humble beginnings at the market, quality and execution has always been at the core of what we do. We use top quality, thoughtfully sourced meat, apply precise technique, and serve it simply and fresh. No corners cut. No bells and whistles. Just the best barbecue in the Ozarks.

Want to make a pre-order? Call us before 10:30am on the day of, and we will set whatever you'd like aside. On Friday and Saturday, please pick up your pre-order between 10:30am and 11am.

 Easter hams will be available for pre-order now until March 29th! You can order them as half(roughly 7lbs) or whole(roughly 14lbs)! Pick up day will be on Sunday April 1st! Call us at the shop at (417)720-1113 to reserve yours!     We will be serving smoked ham on special from Monday-Thursday next week so be sure to stop in and try it!
